Kayla dropped some loose change in the old woman’s cup. “Thank you my dear, that will get me a coffee to keep me warm”, the old woman smiled a toothless, and sincere grin. Kayla felt a pang of sadness as she looked at the woman, bundled in tattered clothes. “Let me buy you lunch too”.

On second thought...how about lunch! Tammy I gad a experience--don't know what came over me--grin! during the International Convention in Texas last summer. I blogged it then--don't wish to repeat, (my ego would jump up and down)...it is a most WONDERFUL feeling to have been a friend with a friendless one, even for a short time.
ReplyDeleteAs you can tell, I LOVED your 55, dear Tammy!
PEACE!
A complicated issue to be sure - compassion is always welcome!!!
